Breakfast Smoothie

Breakfast Smoothie 

Servings: 1 

 

Ingredients 

1 banana 

1/2 cup berries (any kind you like) 

1/4 cup rolled oats 

1 tablespoon ground flax seeds 

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use 2%) 

1/2 cup milk of your choice 

Handful of ice 

 

Procedure 

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until well combined. Serve immediately. 

This smoothie recipe is a great base to making a hearty smoothie that can serve as your morning meal. It offers a great combination of complex carbs, protein, and healthy fats. There’s plenty of room to switch things up and make it your own - switch up your berries, use chia instead of flax, add nuts… and enjoy!
